This therapeutic 3 part locking panel busy board brings everyday items together in an appealing and portable location so that loved ones with memory loss can continue to practice recognizable activities in a calm setting. Our Busy Board is an activity made in Canada for The Alzheimer’s Store Canada. It has locks and latches and other familiar hardware that helps with memory and fine motor skills. The puzzle locking panel boards gadgets enhance hand-eye coordination, finger dexterity and increased muscle strength.

A person with Alzheimer’s / dementia will occupy their time amusing themselves locking and unlocking the various gadgets on the board. All the hardware is installed securely and safely on the board. The Busy Board is easy to take with you when traveling, whether a car, bus, train or plane. While the board is an excellent source of sensory stimulation it most importantly puts the dementia user in control of their personal environment. They do not need to be supervised or entertained externally. While using the Busy Board they will not feel like a burden to the caregiver which will add to patients self-esteem.
