We haven't had to use a lot of the features on this clock but my 85 year old mother who has memory issues finds it very useful.  She likes the large print and that you can dim the background if needed.  We even took it with us to the cabin so that it would help her to remember the day of the week. We placed the first one in her bedroom and I have just ordered a second one for her living room as I find that she is confused about things when she is speaking to me on the phone. This way she can tell what is correct at a glance. I'm even thinking of ordering one for myself for my living room just to help me stay on track as well. Never too young or old to have one on hand.

This newest version of the dayclock is outstanding. I have easily setup reminders for my Mom and this clock has a nice, easy to read display!  Dims at night but also provides a nice little night light effect for when my Mom gets up at night.  I have two of these clocks in her home.  One in her bedroom & one in the living room where she watches tv.  This clock has made a big difference in my life!
